Coppia began four years ago, at the beginning of our relationship, and took shape as a business while we were living in Melbourne, Australia. Our travels through Australia, Japan & Italy opened our eyes to different ways of experiencing coffee, baking and hospitality, inspiring us to create something of our own when we returned to London.

We’re a couple with a shared love of good food, great coffee and the little moments that make a day special. From our beautifully restored vintage Piaggio Ape, we bring together specialty coffee, Italian-inspired sweets and handcrafted seasonal bakes, drawing on our heritage, travels and love of traditional recipes.

Nicholas brings his experience in specialty coffee, while Anna is behind the baking and recipe development. Our bakes focus on lower sugar, thoughtful ingredients and naturally gluten-free or gluten-friendly options, alongside classic Italian treats with our own Coppia twist.

At Coppia, we believe coffee and cake are never just coffee and cake. They’re moments to pause, connect and enjoy — and we want to make those moments feel a little more special.
